Sking In Japan

by The Bossmann Magazine

Sking in Yamagata on Japan’s main island, Honshu, Gassan gets so much snow during the winter that it doesn’t even open until April, the resort is inaccessible until then.

The lifts then continue to run until late July where skiers and snowboarders can enjoy almost 1000m of vertical terrain. The community around Mount Gassan prides itself on its mineral water and beer.  There is  a micro-brewery and restaurant,  Called Gassan Meisuikan that is incredible.  A place to visit if your into skiing.
